Flowering dogwoods envelop this path with masses of ivory-white floral bracts in spring and burgundy foliage in autumn. Quaker ladies, with petite blue and yellow flowers, are among the earliest signs of spring, while the deep purple-blue flowers of bottle gentians fill the lower portion of the Dogwood Path in late summer.
