The Region’s Finest Naturalistic Gardens, Mt. Cuba Center is recognized as having the region’s finest woodland wildflower gardens. Our guided garden tours provide an excellent overview of our naturalistic gardens. Learn about the history, design, and plant diversity that make Mt. Cuba Center a unique regional treasure.
Each tour is conducted by a trained docent and includes a group of approximately 10-15 people. You’ll stroll through formal gardens, woodland areas, and our meadow. Tours last for approximately two hours. The total distance walked is approximately one-half mile.
Garden tours are offered in spring and autumn. Both morning and afternoon tours are available on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays are at 1pm. During the summer, garden tours are available on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (5:30 to 7:30) commencing May 28th, 2008.
Admission
Admission to Mt. Cuba Center is by advance reservation. The tour fee is $5 per person. Free strolling of our gardens is not permitted.
